~ Recent Newborn Session and Life ~

Okay, this week hasn't been very productive in the studio, as I had to move two sessions.  Apparently, I have sugar issues!  Other than headaches, I have felt like a million bucks.  Only two months left now, but today, I flunked my glucose test!  I get to go back on Monday for another one for them to know more.  I can't wait until tomorrow, I get to see little Miss A for her sitting up session!

Here is one of my recent sessions that I am still in love with.  It's hard to not take too many images when you have one being such a sleepy head!  She was just a precious angel!!!!!!!  I could have kept going for two more hours and I don't think she would have ever cared.  I hope Little Miss Henry sleeps that pleasant!  :)

Kindergarten is History!

Beginning this week with a summer hair cut, water day, three days out in the sun catching rays, you'd think she was as worn out as I was.  BUT......Okay, Harley Tate never slowed down or checked up!  (Even with being sick this week with her allergies and needing to puff her inhaler once a day) She sang her songs for graduation, collected her diploma, hugged Mrs. Tammy goodbye, wouldn't even pose with Mr. Greg for a picture hahaha, collected all her presents (I owe another pic of her and her new bicycle), and by lunch was telling her waitress that she was in First Grade now, not Kindergarten anymore!

I hope to be back in the studio Thursday, June 11, to catch up from this weeks events.  That is unless I flunk my sugar glucose test on Wednesday!  Wish me luck!

Little Miss Henry

Okay, by far this was one of the weirdest things for me to watch!  It was so different from a regular ultrasound.  It's almost like we were watching her do things that you aren't supposed to see until they are born.  She sleeps with her hands right at her face, just like Mommy and Daddy.  She also doesn't like to be woken up.  When we finally got her to moving around in the ultrasound, she wouldn't quit.  Continually hanging on to her cord with one hand and keeping the other hand free to suck her thumb.  It was just so precious!

He thinks she looks like him and I think she looks like me.  Guess we'll know who is right in a couple of months!

~ Studio Notice and Update ~

I am finally able to start heading back into the studio next week part time.  My Mom is having heart surgery at St. Francis as we speak so that will prevent me from being back full time next week.  Each day will have to be taken one day at a time right now.  My infection is finally healed and I am finishing up my last round of antibiotics.  I have so many orders sitting at the studio that will be sorted as soon as I can get back in the door.  The contact on your order form will be the one you will be notified at.

Orders that will take the maximum delivery time or more are:
Late orders.....orders turned in past their due date.
Custom orders.....orders for Laginappe.  Your regular order will be delivered before the custom though.

~ Studio Notice ~

Thank you so much for the calls, texts, and emails during this difficult time for me.  My surgery didn't go as planned and I am having a hard time getting up and back to normal.  I tried to come in for two days last week and those two days have set me back another week.

I went back to the surgeon last week and he asked me not to return to work for 3 more weeks, but that feels impossible.  Babies grow too quickly.  I have developed an infection in the incision areas from my surgery.  The more I try to do, the worse they get.  It's like finally for once in my life, I've been tied down to re-cooperate and can't do anything about it.  :(

I will be taking newborn appointments as first priority as they don't stay that small long enough that a week or two would be okay to push them back.  I plan on trying to still shoot as many sessions as I can this and next week.  My worry and concern is to have somebody scheduled for an appointment that I can't make it to due to the pain.

Telephone calls are being returned by Rebecca who has been helping me as much as possible.  Most everything having to do with booking is done by me though.  Please forgive me for this entire process and the time it's taking to get back going.
